We all have that friend that loves products, between makeup, to skincare, nail products- basically anything that enhances your natural beauty. Here are a couple of last minute gift ideas under $30 for your beauty junkie friend! Read til the end for the giveaway!!

1)R + CO Badlands Dry Shampoo $28
What is it? A tub of dry shampoo (sounds weird) BUT it has a great chalky consistency that will emulsify when rubbed between fingers— and leaves no white residue on your scalp! I love this dry shampoo because it can be used as a styling product for short hair, and still doubles as a dry shampoo. Like I said, Badlands doesn’t leave the white residue on your hair and scalp many spray dry shampoos leave, and it gives your hair a little volume at the roots!

2)Beauty Blenders $5-25
Beauty blenders took over the makeup world this past year, and I don’t see many people looking back. I love a good beauty blender, but I HATE buying them. You can always buy the cheap disposable ones but they absorb more makeup than they claim to blend, and purchasing a high quality beauty blender is just money I hate spending, soOooOooo. I rely on my God given beauty blenders (my fingers), but that doesn’t mean your beauty junkie BFF won’t be thanking you for repurchasing their newest one!

3)Sheet Masks $3-$$$
You can’t even say you haven’t seen some kind of weird face mask picture on Instagram, or online in general if you don’t have Insta. Face masks are great, literally anyone can do one and it’s a great little treat for your face – I mean who doesn’t want better skin? One of my favourite things to do is have a facemask on while I am hanging around the house. I still feel like I’ve been productive even on my laziest days and my skin thanks me. My advice would be to stock up on a couple of these, because it’s an easy stocking stuffer or gift for the friend you know is obsessed with skincare.

4)Davines Oi Oil $22
I have talked about this product already, I work with this product in my salon, and I use this product every day. Oi Oil is GREAT, especially for this time of year when your hair and scalp are getting a little dry with the colder weather. It works for curly hair, and tames some of the frizz for the people with straight hair that gets a little staticky. I love Oi Oil to refresh my curls every day, but I also love it to smooth out my mums straighter hair when it’s looking a little frizzy frizzy.

5)Water Bottle $5-40
I get it, this sounds weird. Just hear me out, I am a product junkie, and I love Tupperware and water bottles. TOO MUCH. I am currently eyeballing a Venti Water Cup from Starbucks and I find it difficult holding myself back from buying it. I mean, if we don’t know anything at all, we still know we should be drinking more water. Most of us aren’t drinking enough!!! So, like I said, water bottles or even a cute reusable coffee cup makes a great gift. Maybe hide a second product in it OR a gift card to their favourite coffee shop (have done this before). If nothing else, you’re keeping your friend hydrated and stopping them from having to purchase their own!

So here are a few recommendations I have for your friend who seems to always be wanting, buying or really just looking at beauty products. All of these items can be customized, as weird as catering a water bottle to your bffs lifestyle (maybe they who likes to run & want a bottle they can run with????)- I know I am partial to the cups with straws. Personally, I like to figure out what kind of products my friends want/need to cater to their beauty needs (skin type, hair type, or just buy everything in their favourite colour. These gift ideas may not be exactly what they need, maybe they want to try a new shampoo. There may be a eyeshadow palette they may have been eyeballing! Good luck on your holiday shopping!!! If any of these items sounds perfect for your friend, you can shop my recommendations right on this post!

This is the season of giving and gifting, so I decided to do my first giveaway! I am so excited to gift a Davines NouNou travel size trio, which consists of a shampoo, conditioner and a hair mask! I love this line because it’s made for “highly processed and/or brittle hair” but during the colder months, we ALL need a little moisture. Either for your beauty junkie bff, or even yourself. All you have to do to enter is easy!

Tag your bff on my Instagram post (@messypot) about the giveaway and comment your fav beauty products!!!

Great post. My favourite hair product right now is the L’Oréal ever curl. It’s truly amazing. I also love the sulphate free facial cleanser from Garnier. It’s amazing for very sensitive skin.
