PATCHWORK DREAMS | 2018

In the hopes to start injecting more colour and prints back into my style, I dove head first by wearing this cute boho-patchwork dress I got from General Eccentric off the sale rack two years ago!!! I absolutely love love love this dress, but I can only wear it now and then because the print is so bold and distinguishable that if I wear it too often I fear it will get old on me too quickly.

This dress worked perfectly for an entire day; it wasn’t too hot while hanging out in NULU in July, or too overdressed for lunch with a friend (hi Regan), and I could wear this to work and feel comfortable while creating this cute braided updo AND prep for a photo shoot that evening.

I managed to pair this dress with some of my favourite finds I’ve been wearing over and over (ahem, flats + sunglasses). I think I am especially in love with this dress because it gave me Free People vibes but I wasn’t breaking the bank to enjoy the style!

I added links to the shoes and the sunnies. Unfortunately, I got this purse at TJMAXX and I can’t seem to find it, so I attached some purses I would also like or wear with this outfit!

Thankyou Lynn Heick from MyLifetimePhotography for capturing my outfit!
